     Thomas William Coke, 4th Earl of Leicester of Holkham was born on 9 July 1880.¹ He was the son of Thomas William Coke, 3rd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Hon. Alice Emily White.¹ He married Marion Gertrude Trefusis, daughter of Colonel Hon. Walter Rodolph Trefusis and Lady Mary Charlotte Montagu Douglas Scott, on 2 December 1905.² He died on 21 August 1949 at age 69.¹
     Thomas William Coke, 4th Earl of Leicester of Holkham was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Boer War in 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Scots Guards.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was invested as a Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.).¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.¹ He succeeded to the title of 4th Viscount Coke [U.K., 1837] on 19 November 1941.¹ He succeeded to the title of 4th Earl of Leicester of Holkham, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1837] on 19 November 1941.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk between 1944 and 1949.¹

     Marion Gertrude Trefusis was born on 3 August 1882.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Hon. Walter Rodolph Trefusis and Lady Mary Charlotte Montagu Douglas Scott.² She married Thomas William Coke, 4th Earl of Leicester of Holkham, son of Thomas William Coke, 3rd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Hon. Alice Emily White, on 2 December 1905.¹ She died on 23 November 1955 at age 73.¹
     Her married name became Coke. As a result of her marriage, Marion Gertrude Trefusis was styled as Countess of Leicester of Holkham on 19 November 1941.

     Lady Elizabeth Mary Yorke was born on 10 March 1912.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Alexander Yorke, 8th Earl of Hardwicke and Ellen Russell.² She married Major Thomas William Edward Coke, 5th Earl of Leicester of Holkham, son of Thomas William Coke, 4th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Marion Gertrude Trefusis, on 1 October 1931.¹ She died in 1985.¹
     Her married name became Coke. As a result of her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Mary Yorke was styled as Countess of Leicester of Holkham on 21 August 1949. She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.¹ She was invested as a Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1965.¹

     Lt. Hon. Arthur George Coke was born on 6 April 1882.¹ He was the son of Thomas William Coke, 3rd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Hon. Alice Emily White.¹ He married Phyllis Hermione Drury, daughter of Francis Saxham Elwas Drury, on 10 May 1906.¹ He died on 21 May 1915 at age 33 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.²
     Lt. Hon. Arthur George Coke gained the rank of Midshipman in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the No. 3 Squadron, Royal Navy Armoured Car Detachment, Royal Naval Air Service.² He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign.

     Phyllis Hermione Drury was the daughter of Francis Saxham Elwas Drury.¹ She married, firstly, Lt. Hon. Arthur George Coke, son of Thomas William Coke, 3rd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Hon. Alice Emily White, on 10 May 1906.¹ She married, secondly, Maj.-Gen. Sir Richard Granville Hylton Howard-Vyse, son of Howard Henry Howard-Vyse and Mabel Diana Howard-Vyse, on 15 October 1925.¹ She died on 22 September 1976 at Hampstead Marshall, Berkshire, England.^1,2
     Phyllis Hermione Drury usually went by her middle name of Hermione.² From 10 May 1906, her married name became Coke. She was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).¹ From 15 October 1925, her married name became Howard-Vyse.

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Richard Granville Hylton Howard-Vyse was born on 27 June 1883.² He was the son of Howard Henry Howard-Vyse and Mabel Diana Howard-Vyse.² He married Phyllis Hermione Drury, daughter of Francis Saxham Elwas Drury, on 15 October 1925.¹ He died on 5 December 1962 at age 79.¹
     Maj.-Gen. Sir Richard Granville Hylton Howard-Vyse held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.).¹

     Anthony Louis Lovel Coke, 6th Earl of Leicester of Holkham was born on 11 September 1909.¹ He was the son of Lt. Hon. Arthur George Coke and Phyllis Hermione Drury.¹ He married, firstly, Moyra Joan Crossley, daughter of Douglas Crossley, on 11 September 1934.¹ He and Moyra Joan Crossley were divorced in 1947.¹ He married, secondly, Vera Haigh, daughter of Herbert William Haigh, in 1947.¹ He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Hope Smith Johnstone, daughter of Clifford Arthur Johnstone, in 1985.¹ He died on 12 August 1994 at age 84 at South Africa.¹

Norfolk [U.K., 1837] on 3 September 1976.¹

     Moyra Joan Crossley was the daughter of Douglas Crossley.¹ She married Anthony Louis Lovel Coke, 6th Earl of Leicester of Holkham, son of Lt. Hon. Arthur George Coke and Phyllis Hermione Drury, on 11 September 1934.¹ She and Anthony Louis Lovel Coke, 6th Earl of Leicester of Holkham were divorced in 1947.¹ She died in 1987.¹
     Her married name became Coke.

     Vera Haigh was the daughter of Herbert William Haigh.¹ She married Anthony Louis Lovel Coke, 6th Earl of Leicester of Holkham, son of Lt. Hon. Arthur George Coke and Phyllis Hermione Drury, in 1947.¹ She died in 1984.¹
     Her married name became Coke. As a result of her marriage, Vera Haigh was styled as Countess of Leicester of Holkham on 3 September 1976.
