     Sir John Senhouse Goldie-Taubman was born on 28 January 1838.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Taubman Goldie-Taubman and Ellen Senhouse.2 He married Amelia Donald Ankerville Grove-Ross, daughter of Joseph Charles Grove-Ross, on 24 April 1860.1 He died on 9 November 1898 at age 60.1
