     Lady Mabell Frances Elizabeth Gore was born on 10 March 1866.1 She was the daughter of Arthur Saunders William Charles Fox Gore, 5th Earl of Arran of the Arran Islands and Lady Edith Elizabeth Henrietta Jocelyn.1 She married Lt.-Col. David Stanley William Ogilvy, 6th Earl of Airlie, son of David Graham Drummond Ogilvy, 5th Earl of Airlie and Hon. Henrietta Blanche Stanley, on 19 January 1886 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1 She died on 7 April 1956 at age 90.2
     From 19 January 1886, her married name became Ogilvy. She gained the title of Countess of Airlie on 19 January 1886. She was invested as a Dame of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.).2 She was invested as a Dame Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1920.2 She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Mary.2 She was an authoress.3 She was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) by St. Andrew's University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland.2 She was invested as a Dame Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1953.2

     Edmund James Burke Roche, 5th Baron Fermoy was born on 20 March 1939.3 He was the son of Edmund Maurice Burke Roche, 4th Baron Fermoy and Ruth Sylvia Gill.2 He married Lavinia Frances Elizabeth Pitman, daughter of Major John Pitman and Elizabeth Cattanach Donaldson, on 22 June 1964.4 He died on 19 August 1984 at age 45, by his own hand.3
     Edmund James Burke Roche, 5th Baron Fermoy was educated Eton, RMA Sandhurst and RAC Cirencester.3 He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.3 He gained the title of 5th Baron Fermoy. He was Captain RHG, memb Newbury DC , chairman Eddington Bindery Ltd, dir Kennet Estates, memb Pheasant Tst in 1976.3
