     Edith Carter was born at Sarsden Rectory, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Rev. Canon unknown Carter.1 She married Alfred James Christian, son of Alfred Christian and Frances Emily Hall, in 1893.2 She died on 23 February 1947.1
     From 1893, her married name became Christian.2
