     He succeeded as the Emperor Matthew of Constantinople in 1353.1 He was deposed as Emperor of Constantinople in 1357.1

He married, firstly, Theodora Magdalena Tocco, daughter of Leonardo II Tocco, on 1 July 1428. He died on 29 May 1453 at age 48.1
     He succeeded as the Emperor Constantine XI of Constantinople in 1448.1

     Fanny Fowler was born on 5 December 1746.1 She was the daughter of Edmund Fowler and Elizabeth Patteshall.1 She was baptised on 29 December 1746 at Little Baddow, Essex, EnglandG.1 She married Sir Brook William Bridges, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Brook Bridges, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Palmer, on 11 June 1765 at St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 16 March 1825 at age 78.1 She was buried at Goodneston, Kent, EnglandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in April 1825.1
     From 11 June 1765, her married name became Bridges.2
