     Simon Montagu, 1st Lord Monatgu was born in 1250 at Montacute, Somerset, England.1 He was the son of William de Montacute and Berta (?).1 He married Aufricia Fergus, daughter of Fergus (?).1 He died in 1317.1
     Simon Montagu, 1st Lord Monatgu was also known as Simon de Montacute.1 He gained the title of 1st Lord Montagu.
