     Somerset Arthur Butler, 5th Earl of Carrick was born on 30 January 1835 at Roan More, County Waterford, Ireland^G.² He was the son of Somerset Richard Butler, 3rd Earl of Carrick and Lucy French.³ He died on 22 December 1901 at age 66 at Coorheam House, Loughrea, County Galway, Ireland^G, unmarried.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He succeeded as the 12th Viscount Ikerrin, co. Tipperary [I., 1629] on 16 April 1846.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Carrick, co. Tipperary [I., 1748] on 16 April 1846.¹ He was commissioned in 1853.² He fought in the Crimean War.² He gained the rank of Captain in 1856 in the Grenadier Guards.²

     Reverend Hon. George Henry Nevill was born on 6 December 1760.¹ He was the son of George Neville, 1st Earl of Abergavenny and Henrietta Pelham.² He married Caroline Walpole, daughter of Hon. Richard Walpole and Margaret Vanneck, on 12 May 1787.¹ He died on 7 August 1844 at age 83.¹
     He lived at Flower Place, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Lady Henrietta Nevill was born on 24 May 1756.¹ She was the daughter of George Neville, 1st Earl of Abergavenny and Henrietta Pelham.¹ She married Sir John Berney, 7th Bt., son of Sir Hanson Berney, 6th Bt. and Catharine Woolball, on 9 September 1779.¹ She died on 2 April 1833 at age 76 at Anderlecht, Belgium^G.^1,2 She was buried at English Cemetery, Brugge, Belgium^G.²
     From 9 September 1779, her married name became Berney.

     Caroline Walpole was the daughter of Hon. Richard Walpole and Margaret Vanneck.¹ She married Reverend Hon. George Henry Nevill, son of George Neville, 1st Earl of Abergavenny and Henrietta Pelham, on 12 May 1787.¹ She died on 21 December 1841.²
     Her married name became Nevill.

     Hon. Richard Walpole was born on 5 December 1728.² He was the son of Horatio Walpole, 1st Baron Walpole of Wolterton and Mary Magdalen Lombard.² He married Margaret Vanneck, daughter of Sir Joshua Vanneck, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Daubuz, on 22 November 1758.¹ He died on 18 August 1789 at age 60.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yarmouth.²

     Reverend George Nevill was born on 16 March 1792.¹ He was the son of Reverend Hon. George Henry Nevill and Caroline Walpole.¹ He died on 20 September 1825 at age 33, unmarried.¹
     Rector of Chiltington, Sussex.¹

     Reverend Henry Walpole Nevill was born on 10 November 1803.¹ He was the son of Reverend Hon. George Henry Nevill and Caroline Walpole.¹ He married Frances Bacon, daughter of Sir Edmund Bacon, 9th and 10th Bt. and Mary Anne Elizabeth Bacon, on 28 May 1833. He died on 3 March 1837 at age 33, without issue.¹
     He was the Rector at Otley, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He was the Rector at Burgh Apton, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Reginald Henry Nevill was born on 14 September 1807.¹ He was the son of Reverend Hon. George Henry Nevill and Caroline Walpole.¹ He married Lady Dorothy Fanny Walpole, daughter of Horatio Walpole, 3rd Earl of Orford and Mary Fawkener, on 2 December 1847.² He died on 1 September 1878 at age 70.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Sussex.¹ At Dangstein, Petersfield, Sussex, England^G, (an unknown value.)¹

     Frances Bacon was the daughter of Sir Edmund Bacon, 9th and 10th Bt. and Mary Anne Elizabeth Bacon. She married, firstly, Reverend Henry Walpole Nevill, son of Reverend Hon. George Henry Nevill and Caroline Walpole, on 28 May 1833. She married, secondly, Colonel Sir Hambleton Francis Custance on 29 October 1840. She died on 4 October 1892.¹
     From 28 May 1833, her married name became Nevill. From 29 October 1840, her married name became Custance.

     Colonel Sir Hambleton Francis Custance married Frances Bacon, daughter of Sir Edmund Bacon, 9th and 10th Bt. and Mary Anne Elizabeth Bacon, on 29 October 1840. He died circa 1893.¹
     He lived at Weston House, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹
