     Somerset Arthur Butler, 5th Earl of Carrick was born on 30 January 1835 at Roan More, County Waterford, IrelandG.2 He was the son of Somerset Richard Butler, 3rd Earl of Carrick and Lucy French.3 He died on 22 December 1901 at age 66 at Coorheam House, Loughrea, County Galway, IrelandG, unmarried.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 12th Viscount Ikerrin, co. Tipperary [I., 1629] on 16 April 1846.1 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Carrick, co. Tipperary [I., 1748] on 16 April 1846.1 He was commissioned in 1853.2 He fought in the Crimean War.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1856 in the Grenadier Guards.2

     Lady Henrietta Nevill was born on 24 May 1756.1 She was the daughter of George Neville, 1st Earl of Abergavenny and Henrietta Pelham.1 She married Sir John Berney, 7th Bt., son of Sir Hanson Berney, 6th Bt. and Catharine Woolball, on 9 September 1779.1 She died on 2 April 1833 at age 76 at Anderlecht, BelgiumG.1,2 She was buried at English Cemetery, Brugge, BelgiumG.2
     From 9 September 1779, her married name became Berney.

     Caroline Walpole was the daughter of Hon. Richard Walpole and Margaret Vanneck.1 She married Reverend Hon. George Henry Nevill, son of George Neville, 1st Earl of Abergavenny and Henrietta Pelham, on 12 May 1787.1 She died on 21 December 1841.2
     Her married name became Nevill.

     Hon. Richard Walpole was born on 5 December 1728.2 He was the son of Horatio Walpole, 1st Baron Walpole of Wolterton and Mary Magdalen Lombard.2 He married Margaret Vanneck, daughter of Sir Joshua Vanneck, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Daubuz, on 22 November 1758.1 He died on 18 August 1789 at age 60.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yarmouth.2
