     Julia Sophia MacDonnell was the daughter of Robert MacDonnell.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Valentine Blake, 12th Bt., son of Sir John Blake, 11th Bt. and Eleanor Lynch, on 8 April 1843.¹ She married, secondly, John Cuxson, son of John Cuxson, on 10 October 1850.¹ She died on 11 March 1883.¹
      From 8 April 1843, her married name became Blake.¹ From 10 October 1850, her married name became Cuxson.¹

     Robert MacDonnell is the son of unknown MacDonnell.²
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).¹

     John Cuxson is the son of John Cuxson.² He married Julia Sophia MacDonnell, daughter of Robert MacDonnell, on 10 October 1850.¹
     He lived at Shifnal, Shropshire, England.¹

     Sir Thomas Edward Blake, 13th Bt. was born on 25 May 1805 at Killagh, County Galway, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Sir Valentine Blake, 12th Bt. and Eliza Donellan.¹ He married Laetitia Maria O'Brien, daughter of Ulick O'Brien, on 29 May 1830.¹ He died on 3 January 1875 at age 69 at Menlough Castle, Menlough, County Galway, Ireland.¹
     He succeeded to the title of 13th Baronet Blake, of Galway [I., 1622] in January 1847.¹ He lived at Menlough, County Galway, Ireland.¹

     Laetitia Maria O'Brien was the daughter of Ulick O'Brien.¹ She married Sir Thomas Edward Blake, 13th Bt., son of Sir Valentine Blake, 12th Bt. and Eliza Donellan, on 29 May 1830.¹ She died on 18 January 1879.¹
      From 29 May 1830, her married name became Blake.¹

     Ulick O'Brien lived at Waterview, County Galway, Ireland.¹

     Sir Valentine Blake, 14th Bt. was born on 2 December 1836 at Menlough Castle, Menlough, County Galway, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Edward Blake, 13th Bt. and Laetitia Maria O'Brien.¹ He married Camilla Eugenia Combe, daughter of Harvey Combe, on 25 June 1864.¹ He died on 24 July 1912 at age 75.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.² He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the service of the Galway Militia.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1872.¹ He succeeded to the title of 14th Baronet Blake, of Galway [I., 1622] on 3 January 1875.¹
     He also had an elder daughter, who died unmarried.²

     Camilla Eugenia Combe was the daughter of Harvey Combe.¹ She married Sir Valentine Blake, 14th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Edward Blake, 13th Bt. and Laetitia Maria O'Brien, on 25 June 1864.¹ She died on 4 March 1929.²
      From 25 June 1864, her married name became Blake.¹

     Harvey Combe was in the Madras Civil Service.¹

     Sir Thomas Richard Valentine Blake, 17th Bt. was born on 7 January 1942.¹ He was the son of Sir Ulick Temple Blake, 16th Bt. and Betty Gordon.² He married, firstly, Jacqueline Daroux, daughter of Desmond E. Daroux, in 1976.¹ He married, secondly, Bertrice Reading in 1982.¹ He and Bertrice Reading were divorced in 1986.¹ He married, thirdly, Wendy Gough, daughter of Edward William Gough, in 1991.¹ He died on 29 May 2008 at age 66.³
      Sir Thomas Richard Valentine Blake, 17th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Richard.¹ He was educated at Bradfield School, England.¹ He succeeded to the title of 17th Baronet Blake, of Galway [I., 1622] on 5 October 1963.¹ He was a director of Sir Richard Blake and Associates Ltd between 1967 and 1975.¹ He was a director of City Chase Ltd between 1980 and 1984.¹ He lived in 2003 at 46 Chemin du Peylong Sur, rue des Arcs, Lorgues, Var, France.¹
