     John Best was the son of Richard Best and Elizabeth Hughes.1 He married Katherine Allanson, daughter of John Allanson.1 He died in 1666.1
     John Best lived in 1654 he sold the estates at St. Lawrence to a William Rooke.1
     He had three elder sons.1

     Thomas Best was baptised on 2 June 1657.1 He was the son of John Best and Katherine Allanson.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Mawdisty, daughter of John Mawdisty.1 He died on 22 August 1710 at age 53.1
     Thomas Best lived at Chatham, Kent, England.1 He lived at Cowling Castle, Kent, England.1
     He had another son and five daughters by his first wife.1
