     Frederic Howard Aykroyd was born on 10 October 1907.¹ He was the son of Sir Frederick Alfred Aykroyd, 1st Bt. and Lily May Roberts.¹ He married Ruth Joan Oldfield, daughter of Carlton Oldfield, on 12 July 1932.¹ He died in 1978.¹
