     Sir Thomas Aubrey, 5th Bt. was born after 1707.¹ He was the son of Sir John Aubrey, 3rd Bt. and Mary Stealy.¹ He married Martha Carter, daughter of Richard Carter and Martha Cornish, on 18 July 1738.¹ He died on 4 September 1786.¹ He was buried on 13 September 1786 at Llantrithyd, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ His will was probated in February 1789.¹
     Sir Thomas Aubrey, 5th Bt. succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Aubrey, of Llantrithyd, co. Glamorgan [E., 1660] on 14 October 1767, and "of Boarstall, co. Bucks."¹
