     Sarah Shelburne Langdon was the daughter of Colonel Walter Langdon and Dorothea Astor.1 She married Francis Robert Boreel, son of Lt.-Gen. William Francis Boreel and Catharine Anne Fagel, on 2 April 1834.1 She died on 3 March 1895.1
     Sarah Shelburne Langdon held the office of Lady-in-Waiting to Queen Sophie of the Netherlands.1 From 2 April 1834, her married name became Boreel.1

     Francis Robert Boreel was born on 25 July 1806.2 He is the son of Lt.-Gen. William Francis Boreel and Catharine Anne Fagel.2 He married Sarah Shelburne Langdon, daughter of Colonel Walter Langdon and Dorothea Astor, on 2 April 1834.1 He died on 9 March 1869 at age 62.2
     Francis Robert Boreel held the office of Grand Master of Ceremonies to the King of the Netherlands.2 He was invested as a Member, Equestrian Order of the States of Holland.2
