     Dorothea Astor was born in 1795.1 She was the daughter of John Jacob Astor and Sarah Todd.1 She married Colonel Walter Langdon circa 1813.1 She died in 1853.1
     From circa 1813, her married name became Langdon.1

     Sarah Shelburne Langdon was the daughter of Colonel Walter Langdon and Dorothea Astor.1 She married Francis Robert Boreel, son of Jonkheer Lt.-Gen. Willem François Boreel and Catharina Anne Fagel, on 2 April 1834.1 She died on 3 March 1895.1
     She held the office of Lady-in-Waiting to Queen Sophie of the Netherlands.1 From 2 April 1834, her married name became Boreel.1

     Francis Robert Boreel was born on 25 July 1806.2 He was the son of Jonkheer Lt.-Gen. Willem François Boreel and Catharina Anne Fagel.2 He married Sarah Shelburne Langdon, daughter of Colonel Walter Langdon and Dorothea Astor, on 2 April 1834.1 He died on 9 March 1869 at age 62.2
     He held the office of Grand Master of Ceremonies to the King of the Netherlands.2 He was appointed Member, Equestrian Order of the States of Holland.2
