Lady Joan Talbot is the daughter of General John Talbot, 1st Earl of Shrewsbury and Maud de Neville, Baroness Furnivalle.1 A settlement for the marriage between her and James de Berkeley, 1st Lord Berkeley was made on 25 July 1457.1 She married, secondly, Edmund Hungerford before 26 March 1474.2
