Sir Henry Goring was born in 1521.1 He was the son of Sir William Goring and Elizabeth Covert.2 He married Dorothy Everard, daughter of William Everard.2 He died on 16 December 1594.1

George Hewett, 1st Viscount Hewytt of Gowran was born in 1625.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Hewett, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lytton.1 He died on 2 December 1689, unmarried.2
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hewett in 1689.2 He was created 1st Viscount Hewytt of Gowran, co. Kilkenny [Ireland] on 9 April 1689.2 He was created 1st Baron of James-Towne, co. Longford [Ireland] on 9 April 1689.2 On his death, his titles became extinct.2
