Sir Anthony Henry Mather Mather-Jackson, 6th Bt.1

     Sir Anthony Henry Mather Mather-Jackson, 6th Bt. was born on 9 November 1899.2 He was the son of William Birkenhead Mather Jackson and Georgiana Catherine Hallowes.3 He married Evelyn Mary Stephenson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Henry Kenyon Stephenson, 1st Bt. and Frances Blake, on 5 April 1923.4 He died on 11 October 1983 at age 83, without male issue.2
     He lived in 1901 at Claycross, Derbyshire, England.5,3 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Grenadier Guards (Reserve of Officers).2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire in 1938.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Nottinghamshire in 1942.2 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Jackson, of the Manor House, Birkenhead [U.K., 1869] on 19 November 1976.1
