     Captain Roger Grenville Peek was born on 6 September 1888.2 He was the son of Sir Cuthbert Edgar Peek, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Augusta Louisa Brodrick.1,3 He married Hon. Joan Penelope Sclater-Booth, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Sclater-Booth, 2nd Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington and Mary Hargreaves, on 16 January 1919.2 He died on 23 March 1921 at age 32 at Ireland, killed on active service.1
     He fought in the First World War, he was made a prisoner of war.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 9th Lancers.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Great Britain.2

     Major Anthony Harley Mark Bell was the son of Colonel Mark Sever Bell, V.C.1 He married Hon. Lydia Joyce Sclater-Booth, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Sclater-Booth, 2nd Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington and Mary Hargreaves, on 11 January 1921.1 He died on 5 June 1964.1
     He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).1

     Colonel Mark Sever Bell, V.C. was born on 15 May 1843 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.2 He died on 26 June 1906 at age 63 at Windlesham, Surrey, England.2 He was buried at All Souls' Church, Ascot, Berkshire, England.2
     He fought in the First Ashanti Expedition between 1873 and 1874.2 He was decorated with the award of the Victoria Cross (V.C.) on 20 November 1874, for his actions on 4 February 1874. "At the Battle of Ordashu, he was at the head of a working party of Fanti labourers, who were exposed not only to the enemy's fire in front but also to the wild fire of native troops to the rear. He urged them to work on without a covering party, contributing materially to the success of the day."1,3 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1

     He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Horse Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and wounded.1 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1917.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.1
