     George Barnewall, 5th Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland was born on 12 July 1758 at London, England.1 He was the son of Hon. George Barnewall and Barbara Belasyse.1 He died on 5 April 1800 at age 41 at Pontoise, France, unmarried.1 His will (dated 23 March 1800) was probated on 2 February 1801.1 He was buried at Pontoise, France.1
     George Barnewall, 5th Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland succeeded to the title of 5th Baron of Turvey [I., 1646] on 11 March 1774.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland, in the parish of Donabate, co. Dublin [I., 1646] on 11 March 1774.1
     On his death, his titles remained dormant for 14 years.1
