     Lady Susan Hamilton was born between 1702 and 1712.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. James Hamilton, 4th Duke of Hamilton and Elizabeth Gerard.¹ She married Anthony Tracy-Keck, son of John Tracy and Anne Atkins, on 3 August 1736.¹ She died on 3 June 1755.¹
      Her married name became Tracy.

     Mary Sophia Thorold is the daughter of Henry Thorold.¹ She married Richard Christopher Naylor on 5 April 1856 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.²
      From 5 April 1856, her married name became Naylor.¹

     George Nigel Douglas-Hamilton, 10th Earl of Selkirk was born on 4 January 1906 at Merly, Wimborne, Dorset, England.⁴ He was the son of Alfred Douglas Douglas-Hamilton, 13th Duke of Hamilton and Nina Mary Benita Poore.¹ He married Audrey Durell Drummond-Sale-Barker, daughter of Maurice Drummond-Sale-Barker, on 6 August 1947.⁵ He died on 24 November 1994 at age 88 without issue.⁵

     W/Cdr. Lord Malcolm Avondale Douglas-Hamilton was born on 12 November 1909.¹ He was the son of Alfred Douglas Douglas-Hamilton, 13th Duke of Hamilton and Nina Mary Benita Poore.¹ He married, firstly, Clodagh Pamela Bowes-Lyon, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Malcom Bowes-Lyon and Winifred Gurdon-Rebow, on 18 April 1931.¹ He and Clodagh Pamela Bowes-Lyon were divorced in 1952.¹ He married, secondly, Natalie Wales, daughter of Major Nathaniel Brackett Wales, on 4 January 1953.¹ He died on 21 July 1964 at age 54 at Mt. Cameroon, killed in an air-crash.¹

Lord Malcolm Avondale Douglas-Hamilton, son of Alfred Douglas Douglas-Hamilton, 13th Duke of Hamilton and Nina Mary Benita Poore, on 18 April 1931.¹ She and W/Cdr. Lord Malcolm Avondale Douglas-Hamilton were divorced in 1952.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Tresham Joseph Philip Lever, 2nd Bt. on 5 March 1962.
      From 18 April 1931, her married name became Douglas-Hamilton. From 5 March 1962, her married name became Lever.

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Malcom Bowes-Lyon was born on 23 April 1874. He was the son of Claude Bowes-Lyon, 13th Earl of Strathmore and Frances Dora Smith. He married Winifred Gurdon-Rebow, daughter of Hector John Gurdon-Rebow, on 28 September 1907. He died on 23 August 1957 at age 83.

     Alasdair Malcolm Douglas-Hamilton was born on 10 September 1939.¹ He is the son of W/Cdr. Lord Malcolm Avondale Douglas-Hamilton and Clodagh Pamela Bowes-Lyon.¹ He married Angela Kathleen Longley, daughter of S/Ldr. John Molony Longley, on 24 July 1965.¹
     He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland.¹ He was educated at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ In March 1996 His claim for title of Earl of Selkirk was rejected. He lived in 1999 at Lessudden, St. Boswells, Roxburghshire, Scotland.¹

     Angela Kathleen Longley is the daughter of S/Ldr. John Molony Longley.¹ She married Alasdair Malcolm Douglas-Hamilton, son of W/Cdr. Lord Malcolm Avondale Douglas-Hamilton and Clodagh Pamela Bowes-Lyon, on 24 July 1965.¹
      From 24 July 1965, her married name became Douglas-Hamilton.

     S/Ldr. John Molony Longley gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the service of the Royal Air Force. He lived at The Old Rectory, West Knoyle, Wiltshire, England.¹

     Angus Gavin Douglas-Hamilton was born on 6 April 1969. He is the son of Alasdair Malcolm Douglas-Hamilton and Angela Kathleen Longley.¹ He married Justine Levene on 18 November 1995.¹
