Matilda Marshal1

     Matilda Marshal was born in 1192.2 She was the daughter of William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke and Isabella de Clare, Countess of Pembroke.1 She married, firstly, Hugh le Bigod, 3rd Earl of Norfolk, son of Roger le Bigod, 2nd Earl of Norfolk and Ida de Tosny, circa 1207. She married, secondly, William de Warenne, 6th Earl of Surrey, son of Hamelin d'Anjou, 5th Earl of Surrey and Isabella de Warenne, before 13 October 1225.3 She died on 27 March 1248.3
     She was also known as Maud Marshal.4 From circa 1207, her married name became Bigod. From before 13 October 1225, her married name became de Warenne.

     Henry d'Eu, 6th Comte d'Eu was born after 1149.2 He was the son of Jean d'Eu, 5th Comte d'Eu and Alice d'Aubigny.2 He married Mahant de Warenne, daughter of Hamelin d'Anjou, 5th Earl of Surrey and Isabella de Warenne.1 He died on 16 March 1182/83.1,2 He was buried at Foucarmont Abbey, France.2
     He gained the title of 6th Comte d'Eu.1 He gained the title of Baron Hastings.1

     Isabella de Warenne was the daughter of Hamelin d'Anjou, 5th Earl of Surrey and Isabella de Warenne.1 She married, firstly, Robert de Lacy.1 She married, secondly, Gilbert de l'Aigle, Lord of Pevensey, son of Richard de l'Aigle, before 1196.2 She died before 30 November 1234, without surviving legitimate issue.2
     Her married name became de Lacy.1 From before 1196, her married name became d'Aigle.2

     Gilbert de l'Aigle, Lord of Pevensey was the son of Richard de l'Aigle.2 He married Isabella de Warenne, daughter of Hamelin d'Anjou, 5th Earl of Surrey and Isabella de Warenne, before 1196.2 He died before 19 December 1231.2
     He gained the title of Lord of Pevensey.1 In 1204 his lands were seized due to his opposition to King John, but he later regained them between 1212 and 1216.2
