Herbert McDougall, on 21 September 1942.3 He died on 8 May 1981 at age 84.

He married Irina Pavlovna Romanovskya-Paley, Princess Paley, daughter of Pavel Aleksandrovich Romanov, Grand Duke of Russia and Olga Valerianovna Karnovich, on 31 May 1923 at Paris, FranceG.2 He and Irina Pavlovna Romanovskya-Paley, Princess Paley were divorced on 22 July 1936.2 He was also reported to have been married on 31 March 1923 at Paris, FranceG.
