He married Nadezhda Dreyer, daughter of Aleksandr Dreyer, in 1882 at Orenburg, Russia.2 He died in February 1918 at Tashkent, Russia, murdered by the Bolsheviks.2

     Brigadier Ronald Ivor Ferguson was born on 10 October 1931.3 He was the son of Colonel Andrew Henry Ferguson and Marian Louisa Montagu Douglas Scott.3 He married, firstly, Susan Mary Wright, daughter of Fitzherbert Wright and Hon. Doreen Wingfield, in January 1956 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.3 He married, secondly, Susan Rosemary Deptford, daughter of Frederick Deptford, in 1976.3 He and Susan Mary Wright were divorced in 1974.3 He died on 16 March 2003 at age 71.3
     Brigadier Ronald Ivor Ferguson was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.3 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Life Guards.3 He was with Neilson McCarthy PR between 1969 and 1971.3 He was deputy chairman of the Guards Polo Club between 1971 and 1989.3 He wrote the book The Galloping Major, published 1994.3

     Susan Mary Wright was born on 9 June 1937. She is the daughter of Fitzherbert Wright and Hon. Doreen Wingfield. She married, firstly, Brigadier Ronald Ivor Ferguson, son of Colonel Andrew Henry Ferguson and Marian Louisa Montagu Douglas Scott, in January 1956 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.3 She and Brigadier Ronald Ivor Ferguson were divorced in 1974.3 She married, secondly, Hector Eduardo Barrantes, son of Martin Barrantes Figueroa and Clelia Josefina Sansoni Pais, in July 1975 at Registrar's Office, Chichester, Sussex, England.3 She died on 19 September 1998 at age 61 at Argentina, killed in a car accident.
     From January 1956, her married name became Ferguson. From July 1975, her married name became Barrantes.
