     Sir Eric Studd, 2nd Bt. was born on 10 June 1887.1 He was the son of Sir John Edward Kynaston Studd, 1st Bt. and Hilda Proctor-Beauchamp.1 He married Kathleen Stephana Langmead, daughter of Lydstone Joseph Langmead, on 8 June 1923.1 He died on 11 June 1975 at age 88.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.1 He held the office of Member, Legislative Assembly (M.L.A.) [Bengal]1 He gained the rank of Intelligence Officer in the HQ Staff 12th (CD) Region.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Studd, of Netheravon, co. Wilts [U.K., 1929] on 14 January 1944.2 He fought in the Second World War.1 He held the office of Member, Legislative Assembly (M.L.A.) [India]1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.1 He held the office of Member, Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Bengal]1

     Kathleen Stephana Langmead was the daughter of Lydstone Joseph Langmead. She married Sir Eric Studd, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Edward Kynaston Studd, 1st Bt. and Hilda Proctor-Beauchamp, on 8 June 1923.1 She died on 21 September 1976.1
     Her married name became Studd.

     Sir Edward Fairfax Studd, 4th Bt. was born on 3 May 1929.1 He is the son of Sir Eric Studd, 2nd Bt. and Kathleen Stephana Langmead.2 He married Prudence Janet Fyfe, daughter of Alastair Douglas Fyfe, on 30 September 1960.1
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant between 1947 and 1949 in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was awarded the Malayan Campaign in 1948.1 He was director of Inchcape & Company between 1974 and 1978.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Studd, of Netheravon, co. Wilts [U.K., 1929] on 27 May 1977.1 He was chairman of Gray Dawes Travel between 1988 and 1996.1 He lived in 2003 at Kingsbury House, Kingsbury Episcopi, Martock, Somerset, England.1
