     George Henry Wellington Loftus, 7th Marquess of Ely was born on 3 September 1903.1 He was the son of George Herbert Loftus, 6th Marquess of Ely and Ethel Beatrice Lempriere Gresley.2 He married Thea Margaret Gordon Gronvold, daughter of Lars Gronvold and Amy Maria Gordon, on 5 September 1928.1 He died on 31 May 1969 at age 65.1
     He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Tottenham [I., 1780] on 10 April 1935.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Loftus of Long Loftus, co. York [U.K., 1801] on 10 April 1935.1 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Ely [I., 1794] on 10 April 1935.1 He succeeded as the 7th Marquess of Ely [I., 1801] on 10 April 1935.1 He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Loftus of Ely [I., 1789] on 10 April 1935.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Loftus of Loftus Hall, co. Wexford [I., 1785] on 10 April 1935.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Northern Irish Horse.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Fermanagh.1

     Thea Margaret Gordon Gronvold was the daughter of Lars Gronvold and Amy Maria Gordon.2,1 She married George Henry Wellington Loftus, 7th Marquess of Ely, son of George Herbert Loftus, 6th Marquess of Ely and Ethel Beatrice Lempriere Gresley, on 5 September 1928.1 She died on 5 May 2006.3
     Her married name became Loftus. After her marriage, Thea Margaret Gordon Gronvold was styled as Marchioness of Ely on 10 April 1935. She lived in 2003 at Bernards Gate, 22 Lavant Road, Chichester, Sussex, EnglandG.1

     Alice Mary Woodman was the daughter of Frederick Woodman.1 She married, firstly, W. de Vins Wade before 1941.1 She married, secondly, Charles Loftus Watkin Tottenham, son of Major Charles Robert Worsley Tottenham and Dorothea Anne Cornwall, on 13 October 1941.1 She died on 24 August 1951.1
     From before 1941, her married name became Wade.1 Her married name became Tottenham.

     Lady Charlotte Elizabeth Loftus was born circa 1811. She was the daughter of John Loftus, 2nd Marquess of Ely and Anna Maria Dashwood.2 She married William Tatton Egerton, 1st Baron Egerton of Tatton, son of Wilbraham Egerton and Elizabeth Sykes, on 18 December 1830.1 She died on 11 September 1878.3
     From 18 December 1830, her married name became Egerton.1 After her marriage, Lady Charlotte Elizabeth Loftus was styled as Baroness Egerton of Tatton on 15 April 1859.
