     Sophie Catherine Street was the daughter of General John Alfred Street.2 She married Major Edric Frederick Gifford, 3rd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard's, V.C., son of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard's and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley, on 22 April 1880 at London, EnglandG.1 She died on 14 February 1947.1
     After her marriage, Sophie Catherine Street was styled as Baroness Gifford of St. Leonard's on 22 April 1880. From 22 April 1880, her married name became Gifford.

     Sub-Lt. Edward Robert Gifford was born in November 1853.1 He was the son of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard's and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley.1 He died on 24 March 1878 at age 24, drowned in the sinking of H.M.S. Eurydice off the Isle of Wight.1
     He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1

Edgar Berkeley Gifford, 4th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard's1

     Edgar Berkeley Gifford, 4th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard's was born on 8 March 1857.1 He was the son of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard's and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley.1 He married, firstly, Mary Osborne, daughter of John Osborne, on 26 November 1879.1 He married, secondly, Anne Maud Aitchison, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Aitchison, on 5 June 1918.1 He died on 29 January 1937 at age 79, without male issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the South Gloucestershire Militia.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard's, co. Devon [U.K., 1824] on 5 June 1911.1

     Mary Osborne was the daughter of John Osborne.1 She married, firstly, Thomas Booth before 1879.1 She married, secondly, Edgar Berkeley Gifford, 4th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard's, son of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard's and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley, on 26 November 1879.1 She died on 15 August 1913.1
     From before 1879, her married name became Booth.1 From 26 November 1879, her married name became Gifford. After her marriage, Mary Osborne was styled as Baroness Gifford of St. Leonard's on 5 June 1911.
