     Major Ralph Henry Sneyd was baptised on 11 December 1784 at Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.2 He was the son of Reverend Wetenhall Sneyd and Margaret Cullen.2 He married Jane Robina Dunbar.2 He died on 16 December 1840 at age 56 at Mattingley, Hampshire, England.2
     He gained the rank of Major in the Bengal Cavalry.2 He lived at Mattingley Lodge, Hampshire, England.2

     He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.1
