     Mary Elizabeth Gill was born circa 1843.2 She was the daughter of Joseph Gill.1 She married Sir Edward Archibald Hamilton, 4th Bt., son of John James Edward Hamilton and Favoretta Corbett, on 28 May 1867.1 She died on 9 May 1912 at Iping House, Midhurst, Sussex, EnglandG.2,1
     Her married name became Hamilton. She was appointed Lady, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (L.St.J.)1

     Sir Thomas Sydney Perceval Hamilton, 6th Bt. was born on 1 April 1881.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Archibald Hamilton, 4th Bt. and Mary Elizabeth Gill.1 He married Bertha Muriel King, daughter of James Russell King, on 29 April 1920.2,1 He died on 26 February 1966 at age 84.2
     Sir Thomas Sydney Perceval Hamilton, 6th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Sydney.1 He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, with the London Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Hamilton, of Marlborough House, co. Hants [U.K., 1819] on 18 March 1939.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Hamilton, of Trebinshun House, co. Brecon [G.B., 1776] on 18 March 1939.1

     John James Edward Hamilton was born on 11 July 1808.2 He was the son of Admiral Sir Edward Joseph Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Frances Macnamara.2 He married Favoretta Corbett, daughter of Panton Corbett, on 7 April 1842.2 He died on 2 November 1847 at age 39.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 83rd Regiment.2

Favoretta Corbett1

     Favoretta Corbett was the daughter of Panton Corbett.1 She married John James Edward Hamilton, son of Admiral Sir Edward Joseph Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Frances Macnamara, on 7 April 1842.1 She died on 3 January 1887.1
     Her married name became Hamilton.

Admiral Sir Edward Joseph Hamilton, 1st Bt.1

     Admiral Sir Edward Joseph Hamilton, 1st Bt. was born on 12 March 1772.1 He was the son of Captain Sir John Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Cassandra Agnes Chamberlayne.1 He married Frances Macnamara, daughter of John Macnamara, on 1 November 1804.1 He died on 20 March 1851 at age 79.1
     He was awarded a gold medal for cutting out H.M.S. Hermione from under the batteries of Porto Cavallo, South America.1 He was created 1st Baronet Hamilton, of Marlborough House, co. Hants [U.K.] on 26 January 1819.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.

     Frances Macnamara was the daughter of John Macnamara.1 She married Admiral Sir Edward Joseph Hamilton, 1st Bt., son of Captain Sir John Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Cassandra Agnes Chamberlayne, on 1 November 1804.1 She died on 27 March 1840.1
     Her married name became Hamilton.

     Captain Sir John Hamilton, 1st Bt. was baptised on 21 February 1725/26.1 He was the son of John Hamilton and Mary Wright.1 He married Cassandra Agnes Chamberlayne, daughter of Edmund Chamberlayne, on 3 October 1763.2 He died on 24 January 1784 at age 57.1
     He fought in the Siege of Quebec in 1775.1 He was created 1st Baronet Hamilton, of Trebinshun House, co. Brecon [Great Britain] on 24 August 1776.1 Captain.1
