Sir Harold Fortescue Flannery, 2nd Bt. was born on 13 December 1883.1 He was the son of Sir James Fortescue Flannery, 1st Bt. and Edith Mary Emma Jenkyn.1 He married Maud Boswell, daughter of St. George Boswell, on 2 June 1917.1 He died on 19 April 1959 at age 75.2
He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Essex Royal Horse Artillery.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1918.1 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Flannery, of Wethersfield Manor, Essex [U.K., 1904] on 5 October 1943.1
On his death his baronetcy became extinct.2
