     Gertrude Annie Hale was the daughter of William Hale.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Sir Worthington Laming Worthington Evans, 1st Bt., son of Worthington Evans and Susanna Jane Laming, on 5 November 1898.¹ She died on 8 November 1947.¹
     She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)¹ From 5 November 1898, her married name became Worthington Evans.¹ She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1939.¹

     William Hale lived at 17 Upper Westbourne Terrace, London, England.¹

     Worthington Evans was born on 28 August 1827.¹ He was the son of John Evans and Anna Hawley.² He married, firstly, Susanna Powell, daughter of Richard Powell, on 15 May 1851.² He married, secondly, Susanna Jane Laming, daughter of James Laming, on 28 March 1865.² He married, thirdly, Helen Curror, daughter of Adam Curror, on 21 May 1898.² He died on 21 July 1901 at age 73.¹
