     Sir Harry Leonard D'Arcy Waechter, 2nd Bt. was born on 22 May 1912.1 He was the son of Sir Harry Sedan Waechter, 1st Bt. and Evelyn Mary Josephine D'Arcy.1 He married Philippa Margaret Twinberrow, daughter of James Frederick Twinberrow, on 12 April 1939.1 He and Philippa Margaret Twinberrow were divorced in 1957.1 He died in 1985.2
     Sir Harry Leonard D'Arcy Waechter, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of D'Arcy.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Waechter [U.K., 1911] on 20 May 1929.1 He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the East Yorkshire Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1942 and 1947 in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1947 in the 7th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment.1 In January 1956 he was gaoled for 21 months for indecently assaulting youths.2 On 16 October 1967 he was convicted of stealing a pork pie, sandwiches and an egg from a cafe.2
     On his death his baronetcy became extinct.2
