     Margaret Floyer was born in 1722.1 She was the daughter of Reverend William Floyer and Sarah Burwell.2 She married James Cornish, son of William Cornish and Elizabeth Squire, on 12 February 1743 at Trinity Church, Exeter, Devon, England.1 She died in 1806.1
     From 12 February 1743, her married name became Cornish.1

     Thomas Brand was born circa 1717.1 He was the son of Thomas Brand and Margaret Nichol.2 He married Lady Caroline Pierrepont, daughter of Evelyn Pierrepont, 1st Duke of Kingston-upon-Hull and Lady Isabella Bentinck, on 9 January 1748/49.1 He died on 23 August 1770.1
     He lived at The Hoo, Hertfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Shoreham between 1741 and 1747.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tavistock between 1747 and 1754.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gatton between 1754 and 1768.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Okehampton between 1768 and 1770.1

     From 9 January 1748/49, her married name became Brand.1
