     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Durham Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Simpson, of Bradley Hall, Ryton, Parish in the County Palatine of Durham [U.K., 1935] on 29 April 1949.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1954.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for COunty Durham.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Durham in 1955.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Durham in 1956.1

Lambert, on 27 January 1936.1 He and Elizabeth Lambert were divorced in 1944.1 He married, secondly, Maria Teresa Harvey, daughter of Captain John Sutherland Harvey, on 24 January 1945.1 He died on 21 December 1981 at age 82.2
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Naval Air Service.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was educated at Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was a stockbroker.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Simpson, of Bradley Hall, Ryton, Parish in the County Palatine of Durham [U.K., 1935] on 19 August 1968.1 On his death his baronetcy became extinct.2
