     He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was a champion of England at the coronation of William and Mary in 1689.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire between 1698 and 1703.1 He was a champion of England at the coronation of Queen Anne.1
