     Sir Gabriel Prior Goldney, 2nd Bt. was born on 4 August 1843.1 He was the son of Sir Gabriel Goldney, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Alexander.1 He died on 4 May 1925 at age 81, unmarried.1
     He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1867 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.1 He was Recorder of Helston between 1876 and 1879.1 He was Recorder of Poole between 1879 and 1882.1 He was Remembrancer for the City of London between 1882 and 1903.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Goldney, of Bradenstoke Abbey, Wiltshire [U.K., 1880] on 8 May 1900.1 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Wiltshire between 1906 and 1907.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1

     Sir Henry Hastings Goldney, 4th Bt. was born on 3 July 1886.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Hastings Goldney, 3rd Bt. and Ethel Julia Swayne.1 He married Violetta Alyns Barnes, daughter of William Charles Barnes, on 19 June 1916.1 He died on 26 February 1974 at age 87.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1908 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1917, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Goldney, of Bradenstoke Abbey, Wiltshire [U.K., 1880] on 21 February 1940.3
