     Rt. Hon. Sir Edward Fry was born on 6 August 1826.1 He was the son of Joseph Fry and Mary Ann Swaine.1 He married Mariabella Hodgkin, daughter of John Hodgkin, on 6 April 1859.1 He died on 18 October 1918 at age 92.1
     He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1 He lived at Falland House, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1854 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.1 He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1869.1 He held the office of Judge of the High Court of Justice between 1877 and 1883.1 He held the office of Lord Jutice of Appeal between 1883 and 1892.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Linnean Society (F.L.S.)1 He held the office of British Member of the Arbitration Court of the Hague.1 He held the office of Treasurer of Lincoln's Inn in 1892.1

Falconer, on 3 July 1856.1 He married, secondly, Lucy Harriett Beadon Malthus, daughter of Sydenham Malthus, on 26 October 1875.1 He died on 22 April 1930 at age 99.1
     He lived at Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.1
