Peter Mudie Boileau was born on 2 January 1926 at York, Yorkshire, England.1 He was the son of Colonel Digby Whicher Boileau and Winifred Mudie.1,2 He married Jean Hill, daughter of Walter Fitzgerald Hill and Sybil Ada Allday, in 1950.1 He died on 24 March 2007 at age 81 at Mirande, Gers, France.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Kings Dragoon Guards.1 He was armoured car advisor to the Sheikh of Kuwait between 1952 and 1953.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1959.1
