     Houston Stewart Chamberlain was born on 9 September 1855.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral William Charles Chamberlain and Elizabeth Jane Hall.1 He married Anna Horst in 1878.1 He married Eva Wagner, daughter of Richard Wagner, on 26 December 1908.1 He died on 9 January 1927 at age 71.1
     He wrote the book Foundations of the 19th Century.1
