     Mary Caroline Pearl Barrett-Lennard is the daughter of William Barrett-Lennard and Margaret Boswell.1 She married Vice-Admiral Harry Rowlandson Godfrey, son of Lt.-Col. Charles J. Godfrey, on 31 October 1911.1
     Her married name became Godfrey.

     Vice-Admiral Harry Rowlandson Godfrey was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles J. Godfrey.1 He married Mary Caroline Pearl Barrett-Lennard, daughter of William Barrett-Lennard and Margaret Boswell, on 31 October 1911.1 He died on 17 February 1947.1
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1

     Brigadier Arthur Harry Langham Godfrey was born on 26 January 1896 at Newton Abbot, Devon, England.2 He was the son of C. E. R. Godfrey.1 He married Mabel Sophia Barrett-Lennard, daughter of William Barrett-Lennard and Laura Sophia Johnson, on 15 June 1918.1 He died on 5 November 1942 at age 46, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Central College, Geelong, Victoria, Australia.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.1 He was awarded the Efficiency Decoration (E.D.)2 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the 2/6 Australian Infantry Ballation, Australian Imperial Force.1 He fought in the Second World War. He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1941 and bar.1
