     Harriette Locke was born on 12 April 1867 at Port Sorrell, Tasmania, Australia.1 She married Thomes Hope Jones, son of John Ormsby Jones and Elinor Hone.1 She died on 11 September 1902 at age 35 at Austin Hospital, Heidelberg, Victoria, Australia.1
     Her married name became Jones.1

     Sir Geoffrey Robert Sidney Byass, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 September 1895.1 He was the son of Sir Sidney Hutchinson Byass, 1st Bt. and Eveline Stratton.1 He married Marian Bruce, daughter of Colonel Sir Gerald Trevor Bruce, on 20 September 1919.1 He died on 29 October 1976 at age 81.2
     He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, in Egypt, Palestine and France.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery (TA.)1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Byass, of Port Talbot, co. Glamorgan [U.K., 1926] on 18 February 1929.1 He held the office of Mayor of Port Talbot between 1937 and 1938.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Glamorgan in 1963.1 He title became extinct on his death.1

     Marian Bruce was the daughter of Colonel Sir Gerald Trevor Bruce.1 She married Sir Geoffrey Robert Sidney Byass, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Sidney Hutchinson Byass, 1st Bt. and Eveline Stratton, on 20 September 1919.1 She died on 30 October 1968.1
     From 20 September 1919, her married name became Byass.1
