     George Heriot of Ramornie was the son of Walter Heriot, 5th of Ramornie and Christina Sandilands.1 He married Jean Bruce, daughter of James Bruce of Newbirnie, on 2 June 1642.1 He married Christian Balneaves after February 1666.1 He died in 1677.1

     Jean Heriot of Ramornie was born on 8 March 1648.1 She was the daughter of George Heriot of Ramornie and Jean Bruce.1 She married John Craig on 17 December 1667.1 She died in January 1687 at age 38.1
     From 17 December 1667, her married name became Craig.1

     Christian Balneaves married, firstly, Sir James Lindsay of that Ilk before 1666.1 She married, secondly, George Heriot of Ramornie, son of Walter Heriot, 5th of Ramornie and Christina Sandilands, after February 1666.1
     Her married name became Lindsay.1 From after February 1666, her married name became Heriot.1
