Sir Henry Goodricke, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Henry Goodricke, 2nd Bt. was born on 24 October 1642.1 He was the son of Sir John Goodricke, 1st Bt. and Catherine Norcliffe.1 He married Mary Legge, daughter of William Legge, in 1668.1 He died on 5 March 1705 at age 62.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Goodricke [E., 1641] in 1670. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boroughbridge between 1673 and 1679.1 He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary to Spain between 1678 and 1682.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boroughbridge between 1685 and 1687.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General of Ordnance between 1689 and 1702.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boroughbridge between 1689 and 1705.1

Mary Legge1

     Mary Legge was the daughter of William Legge.1 She married Sir Henry Goodricke, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Goodricke, 1st Bt. and Catherine Norcliffe, in 1668.1 She died in 1715.1
     From 1668, her married name became Goodricke.1

     Mary Benson was born illegitimately.1 She is the daughter of Robert Benson, 1st and last Baron of Bingley.1 She married Sir John Goodricke, 5th Bt., son of Sir Henry Goodricke, 4th Bt. and Mary Jenkyns, on 28 September 1731.1
     From 28 September 1731, her married name became Goodricke.1

     King Hussein of Jordan was the son of King Talal of Jordan.2 He married, firstly, Princess Dina Abdul-Hamid Jordan in 1955.1 He and Princess Dina Abdul-Hamid Jordan were divorced in 1957.1 He married, secondly, Antoinette Gardiner, daughter of Lt.-Col. Walter Percy Gardiner and Doris Sutton, in 1961.1 He and Antoinette Gardiner were divorced in 1971.1 He married, thirdly, Queen Alia Al-Hussein in 1972.1 He married, fourthly, Queen Noor Al-Hussein, daughter of Najeeb Elias Halaby and Doris Carlquist, in 1978.1 He died in 1999.1
