     Most Rev. Matthew Hutton was born in 1529.1 He married, firstly, Catherine Fulmetby in 1565.1 He married, secondly, Beatrice Fincham, daughter of Sir Thomas Fincham, in 1567.1 He married, thirdly, Frances Scrope on 20 November 1583.1 He died on 16 January 1606 at Bishopthorpe, Yorkshire, England.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was Margaret professor of divinity in 1562 at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Bishop of Durham between 1589 and 1595.1 He held the office of Archbishop of York between 1595 and 1606.1
