     Helen Colebrooke Mary Littler was born on 28 February 1837 at Nasirabad, Bengal, India.1 She was the daughter of General Sir John Hunter Littler and Helen Olympia Stewart.1 She married General Sir William Gordon Cameron, son of Lt.-Col. William Gordon Cameron and Caroline Edwards, on 20 January 1857 at Church of the Holy Trinity, Buckfastleigh, Devon, England.1 She died on 7 September 1893 at age 56 at The Castle, Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.1
     From 20 January 1857, her married name became Cameron.1

     From 25 June 1827, her married name became Littler.1 From 9 October 1858, her married name became Cokayne.1
