     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Stepney, of Prendergast, co. Pembroke [E., 1625] on 24 February 1744.1

     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the County of Carmarthen.3 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Stepney, of Prendergast, co. Pembroke [E., 1625].1
