James Angus Grey McDonnell was born on 3 August 1917.1 He was the son of Randal Mark Kerr McDonnell, 7th Earl of Antrim and Margaret Isabel Talbot.1 He married Jeanne Irene Barry, daughter of Colonel Stanley Leonard Barry and Hannah Mary Hainsworth, on 19 October 1939.1 He died in January 2005 at age 87 at Chichester, Sussex, England.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 7th Battalion, Royal Norfolk Regiment.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1940, where he was captured as a Prisoner of War.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.1 He lived in 1999 at 36 Farley Court, Melbury Road, London, EnglandG.1

Colonel Stanley Leonard Barry1,2

     Colonel Stanley Leonard Barry was born on 31 December 1873.2 He was the son of Sir Francis Tress Barry, 1st Bt. and Sarah Douglas Herron.2 He married, firstly, Hannah Mary Hainsworth, daughter of James Hainsworth, on 5 June 1906.2 He married, secondly, Laline Annette Astell, daughter of William Harvey Astell and Hon. Elizabeth Maria Vereker, on 3 February 1927.2 He died on 22 December 1943 at age 69.2
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.1,2 He held the office of Lord of the Manor of Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire.2 He gained the rank of Brevet-Major.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Royal Hussars.2 He was commander of the 3rd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment in 1914.2 Between 1914 and 1915 he attended HRH Prince of Wales.2 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Commander-in-Chief of the BEF between 1914 and 1915.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1915.1,2 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1915.1,2 He fought in the First World War, in France, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Brevet-Colonel in the Reserve of Officers.2 He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1,2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Oxfordshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire in 1935.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1935.2 He lived at Hampton Gay Manor, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1

     From before 1906, her married name became MacGeorge.1 Her married name became Barry.

Arthur Preston Hohler, son of Frederick Scott Hohler and Frances Amelia Preston, on 9 April 1910.2 She married, secondly, Colonel Stanley Leonard Barry, son of Sir Francis Tress Barry, 1st Bt. and Sarah Douglas Herron, on 3 February 1927.1 She died on 22 April 1969.1
     From 9 April 1910, her married name became Hohler.1 From 3 February 1927, her married name became Barry.
