     Charlotte Halbik was born on 24 November 1931 at Vienna, Austria.1 She married Michael Anthony Maurice Huchet, Comte de la Bédoyère, son of Yvon, Vicomte de la Bédoyère and Sybil Emily Thorold, in 1961. She died on 22 November 2024 at age 92.1
     She was founder of Search Press, book publisher.1

     He was educated at Dulwich College, Dulwich, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Chepstow College of Art and Technology, Chepstow, Monmouthshire, Wales, in 1974 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He was a practising solicitor in 1977.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Silkin, of Dulwich, co. London [U.K., 1950] on 25 November 2001.1 On 4 April 2002 he disclaimed his peerage for life.1
