     Sir Gerald Francis Talbot was born on 21 August 1881.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Gerald Francis Talbot and Henrietta Clarissa Noyes Bradhurst.1 He married Helene Jarislowsky, daughter of S. Jarislowsky, on 15 June 1920.1 He died on 17 April 1945 at age 63.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He was Naval Attache to Athens.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)1

     From 1 September 1942, her married name became Mackenzie Smith.2 She lived in 2003 at Backfields End, Winchelsea, Sussex, England.2
