     From 28 May 1808, her married name became Warde.1

     Colonel Sir Charles Edward Warde, 1st Bt. was born on 20 December 1845 at Ireland.1 He was the son of General Sir Edward Charles Warde and Jane Lane.1 He married Helen Caroline de Stern, daughter of David Stern, Viscount de Stern and Sophia Goldsmid, on 10 July 1890 at Queens Gate, London, England.1 He died on 12 April 1937 at age 91 at Barham Court, Maidstone, Kent, England.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kent. He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) He was created 1st Baronet Warde, of Barham Court, in the parish of Teston, in the County of Kent [U.K.] in 1919.
