     From 1856, her married name became Moresby.¹ From after 1858, her married name became Bevan.¹

     Commander Fairfax Moresby was the son of Admiral Sir Fairfax Moresby.¹ He married Emma Eliza Lewis, daughter of Herbert Taylor Lewis and Anna Maria Lacon, in 1856.¹ He died in 1858, when his ship, H.M.S. Sappho, went down off Sydmey, Australia.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Admiral Sir Fairfax Moresby was born on 29 November 1786 at Calcutta, Bengal, India.² He married Eliza Louisa Williams in August 1814 at Malta.² He died on 21 January 1877 at age 90 at Exmouth, Devon, England.²
     He gained the rank of Admiral of the Fleet in the Royal Navy.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)²
