     Henry Finley Cubitt was born on 12 June 1789.1 He was the son of George Cubitt and Mary Finlay.1 He married, firstly, Mary Mangles, daughter of Robert Mangles.1 He married, secondly, Mary Fellowes, daughter of Robert Fellowes.1 He died on 12 August 1848 at age 59, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artilery.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1
