     He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1877.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 5th Sherwood Foresters.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Delpre Abbey, Northamptonshire, England.¹

     Jane Grey was the daughter of S. Grey.¹ She married John Augustus Sheil Bouverie, son of Francis Kenelm Bouverie and Elizabeth Sheil, on 9 April 1860.¹ She died on 19 October 1903.¹
     From 9 April 1860, her married name became Bouverie.¹

     Francis Kenelm Bouverie was born on 24 January 1861.¹ He was the son of John Augustus Sheil Bouverie and Jane Grey.¹ He married Caroline Hoffnung, daughter of Abraham Hoffnung, on 5 September 1882.¹ He and Caroline Hoffnung were divorced in 1884.¹ He died on 27 April 1891 at age 30, without issue.¹

     Caroline Hoffnung is the daughter of Abraham Hoffnung.¹ She married Francis Kenelm Bouverie, son of John Augustus Sheil Bouverie and Jane Grey, on 5 September 1882.¹ She and Francis Kenelm Bouverie were divorced in 1884.¹
     From 5 September 1882, her married name became Bouverie.¹
